What we work for

Justice

We advocate for justice for the victims and support for the survivors of the war and genocide in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We conduct activities designed to preserve the historical memory and spread the truth by countering historical revisionism and genocide-denial at home and abroad.

Equality

We firmly believe all Bosnian citizens deserve to have equal treatment and feel at home throughout the land. Political divisions and disunity are the major obstacles preventing progress. The Civic Council for BiH works towards defending and enhancing citizens’ rights, promoting dialogue to achieve peaceful reintegration and equality for all citizens in BiH. Sovereignty

The Civic Council for Bosnia & Herzegovina opposes all foreign control over socio-political processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We strive for an independent, united Bosnian state that will put forward the general interests of all the citizens. The Bosnian state must be free to implement a sovereign policy over the whole territory of the country without any foreign tutelage on any level.
